I'm finally taking the plunge. I've long threatened to start a blog and I'm not sure what I was expecting... flaming hoops to jump through? A personal essay requirement? But no, in these last few minutes of my work day, I believe I've done it.
So... here goes nothing!
Madi, I am so excited that you have finally started the blog that you have been talking about! You and Dan have an amazing, unique relationship and this is a great way of expressing to all those women/men out there who are in similar situaitons with their significant others who live fishing lives that you have to make the best of every situation and support their careers as fishermen/fisherwomen. I know how proud you are to be a fish wife and you 100% support Dan in whatever he chooses to do. I'm sure you will inspire many to be as strong as you are and to be independent when it comes to living a fishing life. I know you inspire me to be a better person. Keep it up lady!!! :)
